Electricity Retailers Comparison

The output may not 100% accurate and limited with a few retailers. This is focused on solar panel users which is like me.

 

Above the table was the comparison that I used when selected my electricity retailer in early 2019.

 

I have solar panels that provide 5 kWh and was using Origin’s general plan which I had to pay over $200 per quarter even though my solar panels used to generate more electricity than I used.

 

From the above comparison, I realized that I would only need to pay less than $50 instead of over $200 per quarter if I used AGL’s solar boost plan.

 

My usage was:

• Bill Period: 91days
• General Usage: 467 kWh
• T31 Usage: 547 kWh
• Solar Feed-in Tariff: 1480

What I paid: $236.37

What I could’ve paid: $45.19

 

So, I immediately changed to AGL’s solar boost plan.
